Lead times and delivery
I am currently in Lithuania, which means that postal services take longer, usually within 1-2 weeks to deliver even with priority and tracked shipping service, thank you for understanding and agreeing to these terms.
If you are from the UK, please write me a message before ordering so I can prepare your order so you will not need to pay extra custom taxes and your order would go without any extra costs, thanks!
All the packages will be sent with priority and tracking, so you will receive a tracking number from me, which you can track here.
If you have ordered a custom made piece or needed anything customised for you (like colour, size and shape where applicable) these will take time to be made and shipped. The lead time can take longer than regular orders from my online shop. I will notify about lead times individually in this case.
Returns and Exchanges
All items that have been specially commissioned or customised cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged, unless they contain a manufacturing fault. In case of a manufacturing fault please get in touch with me via email for further assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of receiving your order included with postage for exchange or refund. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unaltered, in their original condition and packaging. Please inform me of your intention to return items in writing by email within 30 days of receiving your order.
You must notify me prior to posting any returns. Failure to inform me about any returns will result in no refund or no exchange. When returning an item, please ensure that you package it securely and return via a tracked postage. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges unless the item purchased is at my fault (incomplete shipment/wrong item/faulty item).
Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment within 30 days after the item has been received by Sandra Zinkute Jewellery or in other prefered way if you notify me about a change of circumstances.
For any repairs please get in touch with Sandra Zinkute Jewellery via email or Instagram for further assistance. Every repair will be handled individually to determine the causes of damage and any potential associated costs or replacements. The customer will be responsible for any accidental damage or damage caused by neglect or inappropriate care.
Faulty or Incorrect goods
Please carefully inspect the items on arrival. If your goods arrive faultily or damaged you must inform Sandra Zinkute Jewellery immediately which will assist in resolving any issues as quickly as possible. Deliberate, malicious damage or negligence will void any rights you have to take advantage of the refund or exchange policies. Defective products may be returned for a free replacement, repair or full refund within 30 days from the date the item was received.
Care and maintenance
Majority of my jewellery is a combination of upcycled plastic, spray paint and varnish, and precious metals. There may be slight differences in colour due to the handmaking process and spray painting.
Most of my work uses silver which can tarnish, meaning it will get black or green discolouration. This can be due to various factors such as sweat pH, the food you consume, any cosmetics you wear or even soap and hand sanitizer. This is a natural reaction and is not a faulty product. If you have placed an order with me online, I have included a polishing cloth for silver and gold, please use it when needed and it should clean the tarnish easily. Even after a long time use of the cloth when it gets dark and looks dirty do not wash it, as it has special oils embedded without which it just becomes a simple cotton cloth.
The upcycled and recycled plastics in my work are sturdy and strong, however, please take precautions not to squish it or deform it with pressure or high heat. Spray paint is covered with satin varnish which prevents discolouration from UV light and water, however, please keep in mind that like any paint it can be scratched with sharp objects or ruined with strong chemicals like nail polish removers, acetone, chlorine etc. Such damages will void your 30-day return window.

Please be aware that not all of the work is hallmarked, UK law allows to sell silver up to 7,78 grams of weight without a hallmark. When ordering rings, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have ordered the correct size. All items sized are made in accordance with British jewellery industry measurements. Unique or more organically shaped jewellery pieces may have small variations. A helpful guide to ring sizes in metric and imperial systems can be found here. If you would like to place a special commission with me or commission any other type of work not explicitly listed on the website, you will be asked to provide a deposit that covers half the entire purchase for your commissioned piece. Deposits are non-refundable and are there to cover the costs of materials and/or tools and any other special purchases that need to take place in order to complete your commission. The other half of the commissions’ price has to be paid within 30 days of receiving the order as per invoice.
My jewellery is made from upcycled and recycled materials and I hold my packaging to the same environmentally friendly standard. All of my packaging, from ribbons, boxes, packaging paper and tape is eco friendly and from sustainable resources. The ribbons and jewellery cushions are made from recycled plastics and the delivery is CO2 neutral. My packaging provider is WestPack.
